Overlooked and under-appreciated, a flexible rib cage is essential for neck and shoulder comfort. When we hold our chests stiff, over time we lose the natural suppleness of our ribs. This tends to result in pain and tension in the neck and shoulders.
This series will help relieve neck and shoulder pain by showing you:
- How to regain the innate flexibility of your ribs so you can move with more ease and energy.
- How your breathing is connected with your neck and shoulder problems, and how to use this to feel better.
- How to coordinate your head and arms with the center of yourself to decrease neck/shoulder strain and improve range of motion.
This class is primarily done sitting in chairs. Everyone welcome, including wheelchair users.
Class Meets 4 Tuesdays: January 7, 14, 21 & 28
