Finding your balance can be easier than you think!
Many people assume balance problems are an inevitable part of aging—but that’s not so. Habitual patterns of tensing muscles and joints, holding your breath, and lack of awareness are often the real culprits in diminishing balance. Fortunately, these are things you can change at any age!
This series will help you:
- Breathe easier for steadier movement and fall prevention
- Increase the suppleness in your feet and ankles for more responsive, fluid walking
- Increase the freedom of your head, neck and shoulders for better orientation and more reliable balance
Of course, balance isn’t only physical, it’s emotional as well. As you improve the mobility and stability of your body, you’ll likely feel calmer and ready to respond to life with greater ease.
This class will include lessons lying on the floor, as well as sitting and standing. Everyone welcome.
