How to Use Your Hands to Turn the Tables on Neck and Shoulder Pain (chair 2019)

Want to reduce strain and tension in your neck and shoulders while increasing comfort in your hands, wrists and arms?

This class will focus on the intimate relationship between your neck/shoulders and your hands/arms. How we use one effects the other.

In this series, you’ll discover how to:

  • Connect the movements of your hands and arms skillfully into your torso, using the strong muscles there for more ease and lightness in your neck, shoulders and arms.
  • Understand how to use your hip joints for more strength and efficiency through your hands and arms when reaching, lifting, pushing, etc.
  • Position your computer keyboard and mouse for maximum comfort in your neck, shoulders, arms and hands.

Come refine the use of your hands and arms to reduce pain and tension in your neck and shoulders.

This class is primarily done sitting in chairs. Everyone welcome, including wheelchair users.

Class Meets 4 Tuesdays: May 7, 14, 21 & 28
