Stress and habits often disrupt our ability to breathe fully and naturally. Dr. Feldenkrais said if he could only improve one function in a person, it would be their breathing. That’s because breathing effects every aspect of your body and health.
When you hold your breath, other parts of you hold as well, especially your neck, shoulder and back muscles. This cycle of tension contributes to stiffness and pain.
Come breathe more ease and mobility into your neck, shoulders and back! This series will:
- Give you an overview of how breathing works and the direct connection it has with your neck, shoulders and back
- Help you discover and release your patterns of holding, plus give you tools for interrupting these patterns in your daily life
- Show you how to reset your breathing so you can enjoy the easier posture, smoother movement and increased vitality that fuller breathing brings
This class is primarily done sitting in a chair. Everyone welcome, including wheel chair users.
