The ankle bone really is connected to the neck bone—what happens in your ankles directly effects the comfort of your neck.
Your feet and ankles act as shock absorbers. When your ankles are stiff, sore or not being used optimally, your steps lose their natural springiness. This means places higher up—like your hips, low back and neck—endure excess impact. The result is often pain and tension.
Come rejuvenate your neck by improving the use of your ankles! This series will:
- Coordinate your ankles, knees and hips to be smooth shock absorbers so you can reduce unnecessary strain in your neck and back
- Give you tools to use at home to keep your ankles soft and flexible to bring more ease and mobility to your neck
- Help you discover how your posture may be contributing to ankle and neck problems and how to change that
This class is primarily done sitting in a chair. Everyone welcome, including wheel chair users.
Class will meet online via Zoom 3 Tuesdays: 7/12, 7/19 & 7/26 (no class 7/5)
* At least 2 students must be registered by 9am Mon 7/12 for class to run.
Audio Recordings: Register for the whole series and you’ll receive audio recordings of every class. That way if you miss a class, you can do the recording later.
